Your Questions and Worries Answered!

  • Nope! Beginner classes are meant for beginners, and nobody expects you to walk in knowing anything! We learn together from the very beginning.

  • You do not need to “get in shape” before starting. Classes are designed for normal people, not professional dancers! You build stamina naturally as you go, and you are always welcome to take things at your own pace.

  • Every single person feels this way at first. The good news is everyone is far too busy concentrating on their own feet to judge anyone else!

  • Absolutely not. Adults start Irish dancing at all different ages, and it is such a fun way to challenge yourself, move your body, and try something new.

  • Not at all. Just wear comfy clothes and trainers and you’re good to go.

  • Even our instructors have two left feet sometimes! Coordination comes with practice. Nobody gets everything immediately.

  • No stress! You can always come back the next class and pick things up again. Life gets busy!

  • Most people come in alone for their first class. One of my favorite things is seeing people leave class chatting and laughing together by the end!
